Bon Appétit Names Hummus Dish of the Year

The food magazine calls hummus the “creamy, dreamy dish of the year.”

Food magazine Bon Appétit has chosen hummus as its dish of the year, highlighting Philadelphia’s Denizgoff as the restaurant that does it best. The publication compiled a list of its favorite hummus flavors from Denizgoff, four of which were vegan and included hummus topped with smoked Spanish paprika, lemony chermoula, and fried chickpeas. This year’s pick is a departure from the food magazine’s normally meat-centric “dishes of the year” such as lamb tartare in 2013 and crudo (or uncooked meat or fish) in 2014. We’re with you, Bon Appétithummus is an amazing food!
