From November 22 to 24, the first annual Plant Based Drippin Festival and Concert will take place in Atlanta, GA. Created by the Plant Based Drippin clothing company—which is owned by vegan rapper “Grey,” known for his 2016 viral video wherein he freestyle raps about vegan food at Thanksgiving—the festival will promote a simple message: “Eat healthy, be dope.” The Thanksgiving celebration will feature three days of events, including an all-inclusive Friday night mixer with four vegan chefs and multiple DJs and a sold-out Sunday vegan Thanksgiving dinner at a private estate. On Saturday, a free, all-day festival—sponsored by athleticwear brand Lululemon—will include a 5K run, yoga classes, games, giveaways, and vendors such as Slutty Vegan, Vegetopia, Dawg’ On Vegans, Cinnaholic, 95th St Tacos, and House of Chick’n. A Thanksgiving Bake Off Competition will feature three chefs who will be tasked with creating a Thanksgiving dish that incorporates a short list of specific ingredients. The dishes will be sampled by guest judges who will determine the winner. Additionally, a Saturday concert will feature live performances by artists such as Translee, Dee-1, and Grey.
