Follow Your Heart Named PETA’s Company of the Year

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) named Follow Your Heart its company of the year for 2015, citing the revolutionary VeganEgg as the primary rationale for the honor. The VeganEgg can be used in scrambles, omelets, baked goods, quiche, and other traditionally egg-filled dishes as a direct replacement. “Follow Your Heart has won PETA’s Company of the Year Award for creating a product that no one who cares about animals, his or her own health, and even the environment could have dreamed of a decade ago,” PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said. The Los Angeles-based company makes Vegenaise, non-dairy cheese, dressings, and spreads in addition to the VeganEgg. Previous PETA Company of the Year winners include Emulate, Inc. and Beyond Meat.
