Forever 21 will no longer sell items made with angora wool. This move comes after the company was contacted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which had recently released a video of an angora farm in China that showed a worker ripping fur off a live rabbit while it screamed in pain. According to PETA, approximately 90 percent of the world’s angora wool comes from China, but the country currently does not have any animal-welfare regulations regarding the treatment of the rabbits. Other companies that have ceased stocking angora fur products include Eddie Bauer, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, and Limited Brands.
