This month, hospitality chain Four Seasons Hotel will launch a vegan menu at a dedicated venue in Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. Created in partnership with Saudi Arabian vegan Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud—chief executive officer of asset management company KBW Ventures—and renowned vegan chef Matthew Kenney, the “Folia” menu will be presented as part of the hotel’s in-room Wellness Menu as well as at the hotel’s newly unveiled garden oasis. The menu features appetizers such as hearts of palm niçoise salad with cherry tomatoes, peewee potatoes and olives; entreés such as green herb tacos filled with roasted squash and king oyster barbacoa; and a dessert selection which includes a savory coconut cream pie with a macadamia crust. “The UAE’s launch of Folia at a dedicated venue, part of a property renowned for its natural beauty, is a huge milestone for our collaboration with Matthew Kenney,” Prince Khaled said. “We see Dubai as an extremely important market for healthy cuisine, and we’re confident that the residents of the Emirate will enjoy both the experience and atmosphere of the venue while delighting in the meal itself.” The launch of Folia in Dubai follows the successful collaborations at Four Seasons sister properties in Beverly Hills and Bahrain.
