Ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs recently expanded its non-dairy ice cream line to include four more vegan options: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge and Coconut Caramel Dark Chocolate bars and pints of Crunchy Peanut Butter and Coconut Cookies and Crème (which are part of the brand’s Trio Crispy Layers line). Last year, Häagen-Dazs debuted its first line of vegan flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Coconut Caramel, Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, and Mocha Chocolate Cookie. “We start every non-dairy dessert from core ingredients like rich peanut butter, velvet coconut cream, or real pieces of chocolate to create a creamier, more authentic experience,” the company stated. Similarly, other non-vegan ice cream brands—such as Breyers, Talenti, and Halo Top—have expanded their lines to include vegan flavors to meet growing demand for non-dairy desserts. Ben & Jerry’ introduced two new flavors earlier this year (Peanut Butter Half Baked and Cinnamon Buns), increasing its vegan options to a total of nine.
