Heidi Ho’s Vegan Cheese Makes a Triumphant Return to Stores

This fall, Portland-based vegan brand Heidi Ho! will re-launch its products in stores, including at select Whole Foods Markets, Costco, New Seasons, Green Zebra, and Lucky’s Market. Founded by Heidi Lovig in 2012, the brand first rose to fame after its successful appearance on investment reality show Shark Tank in 2014 when it secured $125,000. The new version of the brand will offer a diverse line of vegan products, including Queso, Beer Cheeze, and Smoky Bourbon Cheeze Dip. “I founded Heidi Ho! to develop crave-worthy, plant-powered foods made with clean ingredients that are better for people and the planet,” Lovig said. “Over the past nine months, I have focused on restructuring Heidi Ho! and setting my sights on a horizon that supports both our brand mission and growth goals.” In addition to the retail product line, Lovig is collaborating with brand partners to develop their plant-based offerings, including with breakfast eatery Spielman’s Bagels on a Vegan Cream Cheeze, ice cream shop Salt & Straw with the introduction of Heidi Ho! Lemon Cheezecake Ice Cream flavor, and vegan sandwich shop Snackrilege with its Pig Champion Sandwich.
