Cattle Country is about to get a little greener with a meat-free restaurant named Green opening in its largest city this fall.

Green Vegetarian Cuisine is set to open in south Houston in September of this year, reports the Houston Chronicle. The meat-free, kosher diner currently has two locations in San Antonio, TX, and general manager Chris Behrend told the San Antonio Express-News that it will be a good fit with Space City’s nearly 30,000 Jewish residents and growing veg crowd. While some of Green’s dishes contain cheese and eggs, everything on the menu can be made vegan, and Daiya’s dairy-free cheese is available as a substitute. Gluten-free and raw options such as the Italian Enchiladas and Veggie Platter with Raw Pecan Hummus can also be enjoyed at Green, as well as burgers, burritos, and smoothies. The restaurant plans to franchise after the Houston opening.
