Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith shared a music video featuring vegan rapper “Grey” with her 2.7 million Instagram followers. In the video, Grey freestyle raps about social justice issues such as violence against people of color, plastic pollution, and antibiotic use in animal agriculture. “That cadance tho [sic] is fire,” Pinkett-Smith captioned the video. The rapper, who also owns vegan clothing brand Plant Based Drippin, is known for a viral 2016 video wherein he rapped about vegan food during Thanksgiving. Grey has since promoted veganism through his music and frequently makes appearances at vegan festivals, including today’s event “Grub with Grey” in Georgia, hosted by animal-rights organization Compassion Over Killing.
