Today, vegan celebrity Kat Von D shared that she had given birth to a healthy baby boy. The star took to Instagram to share the news of the birth of her first child. “Meet our beautiful baby boy, Leafar Von D Reyes,” Von D captioned a photo of her son with husband Rafael Reyes (also known as Leafar Seyer of the band Prayers). “To be honest, my husband @prayers and I want to take the next 40 days (the 4th trimester) to focus on the baby and our amazing relationship transitioning into amazing parenthood.” Von D gave birth at home with the help of a midwife and without the use of pain relievers—a process that was filmed for the couple’s upcoming documentary about home birth.
