Redemption, the first vegan and alcohol-free bar in London, was recently highlighted in Metro thanks to its unique and innovative concept and mission to create “a space away from temptation that still feels like a treat.” Patrons of the Notting Hill eatery can enjoy dishes such as sweetcorn and red pepper pancakes, good-for-you desserts such as the English summer strawberry cheesecake, and an array of non-alcoholic drinks including a Japanese-inspired refreshing cocktail of iceberg lettuce, lime, cucumber, wasabi, and aloe vera dubbed the Lettuce Spray or their take on a Bloody Mary made from fresh tomatoes, sage, garlic, and agave syrup. Originating first as a successful pop-up, the establishment has been such a hit in its first couple of months that a second location is being planned for the Shoreditch area of London.
