This week, cosmetics brand LUSH revealed its newest innovation: a vegan shower bomb line. The vegan-friendly brand that invented the bath bomb created the new product line for those who do not have a bathtub. “The idea was to create a single use, full-experience shower product you can wash with,” product inventor Ale Commy said. “It’s a formula that’s nice on the skin but gives a bit of spectacle in the shower.” The new shower bombs are available in four varieties: French lavender-scented Koyaanisqatsi (inspired by the 1982 film of the same name), turmeric-spiked Karma, cozy cloud-shaped Sleepy, and citrus juicer-shaped, lemon-scented Not Sleepy. Each bomb is infused with essential oils and fizzes when exposed to water, creating an experience that LUSH says is equivalent to “one of those fancy eucalyptus steam rooms.” The shower bomb line is part of the new vegan LUSH Moods collection that features package-free bath products—such as “naked” Little Pot of Energy body lotion, forest-inspired bath bomb Under the Umbrella Tree, and Brazilian orange-flavored Brave Mouthwash Tabs.
