Mexico Worst Veg Destination

Though most vegetarian and vegan globetrotters like to optimistically believe that they’ll be able to find good veg grub in every country and city, the unfortunate truth is that it’s not always easy. According to editors and members of VirtualTourist.com, Mexico came in first place for the “top five worst places for vegetarians and vegans” for 2009. The organization says that the problem with Mexican fare is that it poses challenges with the abundance of both meat and cheese. Filling in places two through five were Spain, Germany, Cuba, and central Asian nations. Perhaps with preparation, vegetarians and vegans will still be able to enjoy a little Mexican fiesta getaway.
