MFA Helps Tex-Mex Restaurant Create New Vegan Menu

Dallas restaurant and bar Hacienda on Henderson has developed plant-based menu items after receiving multiple requests for vegan tweaks to its menu.

Animal-welfare organization Mercy For Animals’ Texas campaign coordinator Nora Kramer recently assisted trendy Dallas Tex-Mex restaurant and bar Hacienda on Henderson create a vegan menu for they city’s growing vegan patrons. “I’ve seen the vegan community in Dallas grow exponentially into a much larger movement … With the vegan menu, we believe that we’re helping our vegan customers, as well as potential customers, feel a part of the Hacienda home,” says the establishment’s marketing manager Hallie Kaplan, who reached out to Kramer after receiving numerous requests for vegan tweaks to its existing menu. The new meat- and dairy-free menu items include vegan enchiladas, spinach quesadillas, and potato and Soyrizo tacos.
