A new vegan shoe company called Third Oak is slated for its debut this month. Founded by third-generation shoemaker Sara Irvani, Third Oak shoes will be sustainable, made in a factory outside, Atlanta, GA, and comprised of a soy-based, recyclable material that, according to the brand, will “contribute to cleaner air with a carbon footprint of 1/200th of the average imported shoe.” The first available shoe will be the “Scout,” which Third Oak describes as “an enviable color palette of skin-toned nudes, rich metallics, and bold tones.” Price points for Third Oak shoes will range between $30–$60.
