The press chuckled as Orlando Magic forward Glen Davis talked about his new vegan diet in an interview with Sports Talk Florida, but this was no joke. The six-foot, nine-inch basketball star has eliminated animal products from his diet in order to shed some weight and help heal the foot injuries that have plagued him this season. Davis, also known as “Big Baby,” is currently riding the bench as he attempts to heal. The former Celtics player, who helped lead Boston to an NBA Finals victory in 2008, told the press that one of his favorite vegan foods is tofu and that he also eats “a lot of vegetables.”
