Singer Stacy Ann Ferguson (known to the world as “Fergie”) recently released a video for her brand new single “M.I.L.F. [Mom’s I’d Like to Follow] Money” that features a slew of celebrity mothers including Chrissy Teigen, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, and Kim Kardashian. The video depicts women interacting with milk, including a shot of Teigen breastfeeding her newborn daughter, Luna. Ferguson is seen in a classroom setting, teaching a nutrition class about plant-based milks with words such as “almond,” “hemp,” soy,” and “rice” clearly written on the chalkboard. While some of the milk used in the video is of undetermined origin, the inclusion of plant-based milks speaks to the pervasiveness of dairy alternatives in popular culture.
