Social network “VSOCIETY” recently launched in the United Kingdom to curate all things vegan into a single dashboard. The platform makes it easy for users to create a profile, scroll through a feed to discover new video content, shop its ethical marketplace, find and launch local events, post to a main feed, create stories, and send direct messages to contacts. It also provides functionality for users to launch their own products and services directly aimed at the vegan community. VSOCIETY operates on a freemium model which means that anyone can create a profile and enjoy all that the platform has to offer for free, with small commissions made on transactions that occur within the platform. Over the coming weeks, “expansion packs” are scheduled to be released, including vegan food delivery services and improved e-commerce features. “Every day there’s an awesome new plant-based creation,” Danyl Goodall, VSOCIETY CEO and founder, told VegNews. “I figured the best way to champion that and improve the modern vegan experience as a whole was to offer everyone a single touchpoint to everything that’s going on.” While the majority of the launch partners are currently based in the UK, the platform is live globally and Goodall plans to expand connections overseas in the coming months.
