NYC Café Creates Vegan Rainbow Hangover Latte

New York City vegan eatery The Good Sort—in partnership with pop culture website Betches—launched a limited edition Hangover Iced Latte for the month of July. The almond- and coconut milk-based, tri-color latte is served in a cup emblazoned with the phrase “I literally can’t with this hangover right now” and is made with restorative ingredients such as spirulina, turmeric, and dragonfruit. The Good Sort opened in January in a space formerly occupied by a liquor store in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood and specializes in colorful vegan lattes and congee—a traditional Chinese breakfast porridge. Betches is promoting the latte via social media contest #SummerofBetches, and customers can post a snap of the vegan concoction to Instagram for a chance to win a four-day trip for two to Tulum, Mexico.
