Pamela Anderson’s New Boot Line: Made From TV Screens
The vegan actress’ brand new “Pammies” are created from recycled materials.

Longtime vegan Pamela Anderson’s new line of vegan boots are made from recycled TV screens, People magazine is reporting. The actress developed the collection because she helped Uggs—boots made from shearling—become popular while on the show Baywatch and wants a fashionable vegan alternative. “I made them popular unfortunately on Baywatch,” Anderson told the magazine. “They used to call them Pammies all over the world. So now I wanted to make my own Pammies, which are really Pammies and which means compassionate, sexy, and these boots are really exciting.” Although the three-item collection was just launched in October, she has been working to find a suitable recycled vegan material for years. The design of the boots channels both beachy elements from California as well as a more wintery feel.
