Canadian shoe brand Call It Spring recently announced its move to become a full vegan brand, starting with its Spring 2019 collection. Until now, the affordable shoe brand offered vegan-friendly options along with leather items. Due to the rising demand for vegan fashion and footwear, the company decided to commit to discontinue its use of animal products. “As a brand, we have decided to shift our collections to become completely vegan,” the company states on its website. “This is not a fad—it is a decision that is central to our brand DNA.” The PETA-approved Spring 2019 collection features footwear, handbags, and accessories that are 100-percent vegan and identified with a vegan logo. Going forward, all collections will be intentionally vegan. Call it Spring also has stores across the world, including in the United States, United Kingdom, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, India, South Africa, Colombia, and Mexico.
