What you need:

20 fresh okra pods
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt, or to taste
2 teaspoons black pepper, or to taste

What you do:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a bowl, mix okra with olive oil. Spread okra in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with extra olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until okra begins to brown.
