This October, diners in California’s capital city will have a chance to vote for their favorite vegan dishes at non-vegetarian restaurants in categories ranging from appetizers and soups to brunch and dessert. From October 1 to November 1, guests can dine at any of 15 featured eateries and then vote for the dishes they feel should win top honors. Chefs at participating restaurants (which include Tower Bridge Bistro, El Papagayo, and Lou’s Sushi) will be creating original dishes for the specific categories, and prizes will be awarded to all winners. This is the 4th annual Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge, and diners will even have an opportunity to have “passports” stamped with all of their dining outings.
