Drugstore beauty brand Sally Hansen recently debuted its first vegan nail polish line at Target, in stores and online. The new Good. Kind. Pure collection is formulated without 16 commonly used harmful chemicals (such as formaldehyde, phthalates, and parabens) and is made with entirely plant-based ingredients and materials, down to the brushes. Sally Hansen’s new line features 30 nature-inspired hues (such as Coconut Milk, Pinky Clay, and Beet It), along with a color-sealing clear top coat and nail-strengthening hardener. “Good-for-you products are becoming increasingly more important to consumers across all categories—and fulfilling consumers’ desires has always been at the core of Sally Hansen’s innovation,” Celia Tombalakian, vice president of Sally Hansen Global & US Marketing, said. “We are thrilled to introduce Good. Kind. Pure., our first vegan, plant-based line of color and care that enables consumers to create a beautiful, clean manicure at home.” Each bottle retails at $7 each and is clearly labeled “vegan color.”
