Juice company Juicero partnered with Whole Foods Markets to bring on-demand juicing stations to 11 locations in Southern California. The stations will consist of up to three of Juicero’s high-powered countertop juicers that customers will use with the company’s produce packs—which contain triple-washed, chopped, organic fruit and vegetables—to create cold-pressed juices that cost $5 per glass. Each location will offer four to seven flavors that include Spicy Greens (accented with jalapeño), carrot-packed Beta Glow, and Sweet Roots—a combination of beets, carrots, baby spinach, apple, celery, lemon, and ginger. Whole Foods has been revitalizing its plant-based in-store offerings recently, including an additional outlet of popular vegan eatery by CHLOE in its 365 Los Angeles concept store.
