Serena Williams’ Personal Hairstylist Launches Vegan Brand at Sally Beauty

Stylist to the stars Vernon Francois—whose client list includes tennis star Serena Williams—recently debuted a vegan hair-care line at beauty supply store Sally Beauty. The self-titled brand is available in close to 3,000 Sally Beauty stores across North America. Made for individuals with wavy, curly, textured hair, the line is not only vegan but also free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, gluten, DEA, and dye. The eight-product line includes Pure Fro Shampoo, Most Nourishing Water, Styling Cream, and Dazzling Spritz Shine Spray, and can be used by all ages, genders, and ethnicities. “This is a huge moment for me, the brand, and everyone seeking to erase the fear of managing wavy, curly, kinky, and coily hair types,” Francois posted on Instagram. “The Vernon Francois Collection, which I use on all my clients, is now more accessible than ever.”
