Beloved boy band The Jonas Brothers performed a skit on a recent episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. The premise of the time-travel-themed segment, set during the peak of the band’s career circa 2006, revolved around the brothers singing about the popular developments that would happen in the year 2019. During the skit, the brothers referenced early 2000s icons and phenomenons such as Borat and Myspace before launching into a parody performance of their hit song, “Year 3000.” Corden appears as a British man from the future and the brothers, with Corden as backup, proceed to sing about what Croden had taught them about the future. “I took a trip to 2019, so many brand new milks we’re trying,” they sang, before listing, “cashew, almond, flax milk, oat milk, rice milk, soy milk, hemp, and goat milk.” The Jonas Brothers recently announced they are reuniting after a long hiatus and are set to appear all week on Corden’s show, including an upcoming “Carpool Karaoke” segment.
