This week, New Jersey-based brand Better Than Milk debuted its new line of vegan milks at retailers nationwide. The brand uses spring water from the Lessini Mountains of Northern Italy to craft its organic vegan milks which are available in five varieties: Unsweetened Almond Drink, Almond Drink, Unsweetened Oat Drink, Unsweetened Rice + Calcium Drink, and Rice Hazelnut. Better Than Milk products are packaged in recyclable aseptic cartons and use caps made from renewable sugarcane instead of petroleum-based plastic.
“We care about our consumers and we care about the earth,” Lonnie Williard, Vice President of Marketing at Panos Brands, parent company of the Better Than Milk brand, said. “Our organic drinks are responsibly sourced and [made] with recyclable packaging, so we proudly bring welcomed relevance to shelf-stable milk alternatives, as even our caps are made from renewable sources.”
Better than Milk’s new line is available in 1-liter cartons at a suggested retail price of $3.99 at retailers nationwide, including Jewel-OSCO, Erewhon Market, Woodman’s Fresh Market, Buehler’s Fresh Foods, Pete’s Fresh Market, and on Amazon.
