Toronto to Get Vegan Soft Serve and Belgian Waffle Food Truck

Canada is readying to get its first vegan dessert truck. Sweet Teeth, a new 100-percent vegan venture launched by couple Tazmin Nawaz and Cameron Tooth, will serve Torontonians frozen treats and gourmet Belgian waffles topped with ingredients such as warm caramelized apples, peanut butter drizzle, fresh fruit, and caramel, chocolate, and strawberry sauces. Sweet Teeth is slated to be street-ready by early June, but a Kickstarter campaign has been launched to speed up the process, according to Toronto blog blogTo. Sweet Teeth comes just a few months after the opening of Toronto’s first-ever vegan food truck, The Vegan Extremist, and the all-vegan comfort food diner Doomie’s Toronto, specializing in vegan Big Macs.
