Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and whether you’re celebrating with a partner or friends, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge. And what better way to do that than with amazing food? If you’re looking for a delicious plant-based meal to mark the occasion, Los Angeles has plenty of restaurants serving up special romantic menus. Here are some of our favorite vegan spots to check out this Valentine’s Day.
How to make Valentine’s Day special
There are many ways to make Valentine’s Day special, and they don’t all involve emptying your wallet. Baking a cute heart-shaped vegan chocolate cake, for example, like the one in this recipe, is a low-cost, fun way to put a smile on your love’s face. If you want to buy your special someone a gift, you can also find some of our favorite Amazon finds for under $50 here.
Of course, you can’t go wrong with chocolate. Find some of the best vegan boxes of chocolate perfect for Valentine’s Day here. But if you want to steer clear of candy, we’ve also got suggestions for gifts that aren’t chocolate (think along the lines of fragrances, pajamas, and cookbooks).
But of course, gifts aren’t necessary to show your love. You can also show your special person just how much you appreciate them by taking the time out to share a meal together.
