This month, vegan and gluten-free banana bread company GoNanas is launching its at-home banana bread mixes in all 242 Nordstrom Rack locations nationwide. The at-home mixes will be available in Original, Chocolate Chip, Crackly, and rotating seasonal flavors such as Pumpkin Spice and will retail for $7.97 per mix and on the Nordstrom Rack website in three-packs for $23.97.

GoNanas’ founders and best friends Morgan Lerner and Annie Slabotsky—who met at the University of Michigan—started the company out of a shared passion for health and baking. While still on campus, the baking duo spent three years recipe-testing and perfecting their banana bread recipe. After testing many variations, it turned out the vegan recipe was the most loved, which led to their decision to make GoNanas a fully vegan company.

GoNanas debuted the new product line on its website three months ago, just one month after launching the company and in time for the rise in at-home banana bread baking during the COVID-19 lockdown. Since then, GoNanas has grown its online sales by 33 percent and expanded its retail presence to 50 independent grocers in Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, California, and Texas—and it became the number one selling baking mix in its category. With the Nordstrom Rack launch, GoNanas will hit more than 300 locations.
