Vegan Beans and Burgers Debut In One Can

United Kingdom-based vegan food brand VBites Foods—founded by vegan entrepreneur Heather Mills, who was once married to Paul McCartney—partnered with the region’s largest worker co-op Suma to launch vegan beans and burgers in a can. The brands collaborated in 2016 on a similar product, Suma’s beans with VBites mini sausages in a can. The new product features Suma’s canned beans recipe and VBites mini burgers in a tomato sauce with herbs and spices. “We are really excited for the launch of this new product,” VBites brand representative Jasper Knight told VegNews, “we’re expecting it to be a very popular for this summer’s camping season.” This new product will be available at food stores and independent retailers across the UK starting July 1. In addition to this product launch, VBites’ vegan Fish Steaks recently made their restaurant debut on the menu at 150 locations of UK-based chain Greene King Flaming Grill.
