California-based vegan cinnamon roll bakery Cinnaholic has opened a new location in Las Vegas. The bakery gained national notoriety when it appeared on investment reality show Shark Tank, where it was offered $200,000 in funding to expand into a franchise from its flagship Berkeley, CA location. In addition to the Berkeley and Las Vegas locations, the bakery—owned by husband-and-wife team Florian and Shannon Radke—currently has storefronts in Southlake, TX and Atlanta, GA, with new locations slated to open in Athens, GA; Brea, CA; Richardson, TX; and San Diego, CA. “It has been a crazy, wild ride so far,” co-founder Shannon Radke said. “I am beyond excited to see my recipe and idea come to life all over the country.” The Las Vegas location features freshly baked gourmet cinnamon rolls that can be customized with nearly 30 frostings (including cream cheese, butterscotch, and marshmallow) and more than 20 toppings (such as brownie bites, pie crumble, and fresh berries). Vegan options in Las Vegas continue to grow, prompting the recent launch of VegansBaby.com—a website for all-things vegan in Vegas.
