Vegan Cupcakes Featured in O Magazine

The November 2015 issue of Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine features The Kind Cake, a Nashville-based gluten-free, vegan cupcake company. In a section titled “The World According to Gayle,” editor-at-large Gayle King raves about The Kind Cake’s cupcakes. “Rich in flavor and spirit, each comes with a message on the bottom encouraging you to be nice to others,” King says, concluding the piece with, “Kindness tastes great.” Founded by Joanna Gaston in 2014 with a mission centered around kindness, The Kind Cake has experienced exponential growth due to receiving national exposure for her unique approach. A few of the messages found on the bottom of the cupcakes read “Tell someone they are loved” and “Visit someone who is lonely.”
