On March 15, hospitality chain Four Seasons Hotel will launch a vegan menu in Bahrain Bay. Created in partnership with Saudi Arabian vegan Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud—chief executive officer of asset management company KBW Ventures—and famed vegan chef Matthew Kenney, the “Folia” menu includes 10 vegan appetizers, entrées, and desserts such as watermelon poké; dukkah avocado with spicy greens; green herb tacos with roasted squash and king oyster barbacoa; wild mushroom sandwiches with caramelized onions; coconut cream pie; and coco-berry mousse with hazelnut gelato. “Chef Kenney’s ingenuity at crafting cuisine positions the menu’s selection as attractive to all diners,” Prince Khaled said. “The concept, dedicated to guests looking to experience an array of quality healthy choices, demonstrated immediate success shortly after its launch in California. Now, KBW Ventures is proud to share Chef Kenney’s selection in Manama, allowing visitors to Four Seasons from all over the Gulf to choose delicious and considered dining through Folia.” The launch of Four Seasons’ vegan menu brings Matthew Kenney’s culinary creations to the Middle East for the first time, and follows Folia’s successful introduction at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, CA  last year.
