Snack Brand Debuts Vegan Space Ice Cream

California-based snack brand Seva Foods recently debuted vegan Space Ice Kream. The astronaut-inspired treat is made with a cashew and coconut base and is available in two flavors: strawberry and vanilla. “We were founded with the intention of promoting love and compassion through nourishment, and the belief that food can be a potent form of activism,” Seva Foods’ mission statement reads. “Our commitment to sustainable ingredients and practices means crafting products that are good for our bodies and the planet. By crafting products made only with plant-based ingredients, we hope to improve the world for all animals.” The brand launched last year and currently sells its snacks—which also include coconut-based vegan jerky—at select retailers in California, Texas, and Kentucky.
