Vegan Star Miley Cyrus Teases Her Converse Shoe Line

Shoe brand Converse released a new video advertisement this week announcing its collaboration with vegan singer Miley Cyrus to produce a new shoe line. Cyrus took to Instagram last month to share a sneak-peek of the upcoming collection. Cyrus captioned a photo of baby pink-hued shoes with a double-stacked glittery silver platform. “Are you freaking out?,” she asked. “Because I am!” Cyrus captioned a second pair of high-tops with glittery bubblegum pink soles. The star teased two more shoe styles—a low-top white sneaker featuring a metal “MC” emblem on the shoelaces and a black paisley-soled pair—to her 73 million Instagram followers. While Converse has yet to confirm that the Cyrus line will be vegan, the company has recently produced vegan collections, including last summer’s classic Chuck Taylors line, created in partnership with professional vegan skater Kenny Anderson.
