Vegan Summer Camp To Be Held in NY, CA, and MA

The Youth Empowered Action (YEA) summer camp is preparing for its seventh summer season, providing young adults ages 12–17 the opportunity to learn about social justice issues and become versed in activism. Focusing on topics ranging from climate change and racism to LGBT rights and animal welfare, YEA’s week-long immersive experience (complete with a fully-vegan menu) aims to prepare youth with the leadership tools to make a change in the world and “bust the myth of the apathetic teenager.” Camp sessions will be held in Massachusetts July 2–9, in New York July 17–24, and California August 6–13.
