Vegan Zombie Takes to Kickstarter for Cookbook

A Kickstarter campaign has been set up to collect donations for the Vegan Zombie’s first cookbook, Cook & Survive! The Vegan Zombie’s online cooking show has garnered thousands of hits, and the new book boasts the same tongue-in-cheek humor while dishing out meat-free comfort food classics such as corn dogs, vegan meatloaf, pot pie, and raw blueberry cheesecake. Along with more than 80 recipes, the cookbook will be a 120-page, fully illustrated, graphic novel depicting the Vegan Zombie’s post-apocalyptic adventures. The endeavor has the support of several big-name vegans including Whitney Lauritsen of Eco-Vegan Gal and The Sexy Vegan Brian Patton. Donations of $5 will receive a digital download of the cookbook while pledges of $60 will receive a signed copy and a limited-edition tee shirt.
