Vegetarian “Airbnb” Debuts
A new website revolutionizes the way vegetarians connect with like-minded people across the country.

Traveling as a vegetarian just got easier with the brand-new website, Vegvisits. Developed by two vegans who used Airbnb to travel cross-country, the home-sharing platform eliminates the need to sift through listings to find veg-friendly places to stay. Instead, Vegvisits connects like-minded people who can share local veg-friendly recommendations, information, and coveted kitchen appliances (like high-speed blenders, dehydrators, and juicers). Founders Linsey and Nick Minnella aim to cultivate a cruelty-free community across the country by providing a simple way to connect with people with shared interests and beliefs. In addition, the site is searchable by gluten-free and nut-tree diets, making it easier for travelers to find allergen-free accommodations.
