VegWeek 2011

Compassion Over Killing (COK), along with elected officials and special guests in California, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, are participating in VegWeek 2011, which will take place from April 18 to 24. VegWeek, which began two years ago in Takoma Park, Md., is a week-long event where participants pledge to eat only vegetarian food as “a simple yet effective way to help protect the planet, our health, and animals.” In 2010, VegWeek expanded to Los Angeles, Calif., and this year it has expanded even further.
