Los Angeles-based restaurant group Artisanal Brewers Collective (ABC) has launched an initiative to support Woolsey fire victims in Southern California. From today through Sunday, ordering a number of dishes served at ABC’s Los Angeles restaurants will result in a $1 donation to the Humane Society of Ventura County (HSVC), which has been working on the ground to help both human and animal victims of the fire. At vegan-friendly Mohawk Bend, qualifying dishes include a vegan pepperoni pizza and a vegan cheese pizza, available for $14 each. At Tony’s Darts Away, the vegan Darts Away Jr. Burger ($13)—made with the Impossible Burger patty, Follow Your Heart American cheese, Russian spread, mixed greens, tomato, and onion—is also part of the limited-time promotion. At vegan-friendly pubs The Stalking Horse, 6th & La Brea, Bluebird Brasserie, and Broxton, ABC will donate 20 percent of all beer sales to HSVC. Earlier this week, actress Sandra Bullock donated $100,000 to HSVC to support its life-saving efforts during the tragic fires.
