The 6th Annual SEED Food and Wine Week—the country’s premiere plant-based food and wine festival taking place in Miami, FL—is expecting an attendance of over 10,000 festival-goers this year. Taking place from November 7 to 10, the festival celebrates vegan food, as well as wine, craft beer and spirits, lifestyle products and companies, and aims to educate and inspire consumers about overall wellness, conscious living, and to showcase simple ways to live a more sustainable, plant-based lifestyle. This year, SEED will bring together some of the nation’s most talented speakers, chefs, celebrities, athletes, and authors, such as vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli, fitness expert John Lewis, and Joshua Helman, MD of the Hippocrates Health Institute. Signature events will include a Plant-Based Burger Battle where participants can cast their vote for “Best Veggie Burger in America,” exclusive dinners with celebrity chefs, a Plant Based Pitch Off dedicated to early-stage and emerging startups, a Taco Tailgate Party, and a SEED Summit presenting chefs, authors, bloggers, and media personalities for plant-based living seminars and demonstrations. Last year, SEED partnered with Los Angeles-based event organizer Eat Drink Vegan to combine the two events into an epic, multi-series vegan festival in LA.
