The Cinnamon Snail Provides Hurricane Relief
The East Coast-based food truck continues to provide free food to Hurricane Sandy-devastated areas.
November 15, 2012
On November 14, the vegan food truck The Cinnamon Snail announced via Facebook that it would continue its relief efforts in hurricane-devastated areas including Queens and Staten Island. The meat- and dairy-free food truck stated in a Facebook post, “It’s really sad there. It’s not going to be better in a week, or a month. These areas need long-term help.” Every Saturday, The Cinnamon Snail promises to offer complimentary hot food and charging stations to people in need. To maintain the food truck’s relief efforts, donations can be made via PayPal or in person at the truck. Additionally, The Cinnamon Snail is currently seeking businesses and individuals interested in financing a full day’s worth of free food.
