On Saturday, singer Miley Cyrus hosted a vegan barbecue to kick off concert series iHeartRadio Summer ‘17 in Miami, FL. The singer prepared vegan party food—including corn, sliders, and hot dogs—on a pig-shaped grill while wearing a white apron before sharing it with guests. “It’s really good and I really made it,” Cyrus said before biting a piece of sausage straight from a fan’s mouth. Cyrus went on to perform several of her hits at the event with her younger sister Noah, who recently embarked on her own singing career. Cyrus announced that she adopted a vegan lifestyle to Paper magazine in 2015 after witnessing her dog being attacked by a coyote. Since her announcement, the singer has become an advocate for animal-rights and welcomed fellow vegan, actress Pamela Anderson, on stage during the last performance of her 2015 tour to promote releasing whales from captivity.
