Actress Sadie Sink—known for her role as Max “Mad Max” Mayfield in the most recent season of Netflix series Stranger Things—wore clothing made by vegan brand Hiraeth Collective to two recent events, the Kids’ Choice Awards and the PaleyFest panel. The fashion brand—which includes items such as faux-leather pants, corduroy suits, minimalist slip dresses, and vegan boots—was launched in February by fellow actress Rooney Mara and her friend Sara Schloat. “[I] was honored to represent my friend Rooney Mara’s new vegan clothing line Hiraeth Collective this weekend,” Sink captioned an Instagram post that depicted her wearing a black-and-white ensemble from the line paired with faux-leather combat boots. “Thank you Rooney for creating this entirely animal-free collection.” Sink revealed in November that actor Woody Harrelson helped the 15-year-old starlet transition to a vegan lifestyle during the filming of The Glass Castle. “I do it for the animals,” Sink said in a recent interview with The New Potato. “Going vegan is the best decision I’ve ever made.” Apparel from the Hiraeth Collection will be available for purchase at luxury retailer Barneys New York in stores and online in August.
