United Kingdom-based events and media company Vevolution will launch a plant-based business bootcamp on July 14 to give entrepreneurs skills and insights for developing plant-based businesses. Beauty brand LUSH will be hosting this event, aimed at early-stage startups, at its London studio. Each £119 ($158) ticket includes entrance to lectures and workshops from the UK’s top plant-based entrepreneurs, one-on-one sessions, food provided by vegan café The Fields Beneath, and a goodie bag. The bootcamp will end with the company’s pitching competition, Pitch + Plant, where businesses will be given the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investment partners BRAN Investments, crowdfunding platform Crowdcube, and media company BRIGHT. “This year’s Pitch + Plant represents a huge opportunity for plant-based entrepreneurs to secure investment to take their business to the next level,” Vevolution Co-Founder Damien Clarkson told VegNews. The winner of the Pitch + Plant portion will receive an investment of up to £100,000 ($133,886) to support the progress of its plant-based business.
