Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink Rocks Vegan Leather and Lace Dress at the Emmys

Vegan actress Sadie Sink—known for her role as “Mad Max” on popular Netflix series Stranger Things—wore a white vegan leather and lace dress to this year’s 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The dress was designed by vegan fashion brand Hiraeth Collective, which fellow actress Rooney Mara launched in February. Molly Dickson, Sink’s stylist, explained to Hollywood Reporter why she choose to dress the young starlet in Hiraeth. “I have always admired Rooney Mara’s personal style, so I completely trusted her vision for this look,” Dickson said. “We started a conversation with Rooney and the Hiraeth team a couple months ago. Sadie is vegan and Hiraeth is a vegan line, so it just seemed like an organic collaboration.” Sink was one of the first celebrities to showcase pieces from Hiraeth when she wore a black-and-white ensemble paired with vegan combat boots to the Kids’ Choice Awards in March.
