During New York Fashion Week (NYFW) last week, one trend that was repeatedly spotted was Nanushka’s vegan leather puffer jacket. The hip-length padded coat is becoming a favorite amongst fashion editors who say it is becoming the biggest street-style sensation this season. “Designer [and Nanushka founder] Sandra Sandor is a favorite among the influencer set, so it’s no surprise that her creations are seen regularly outside of the shows this week—and will likely be popular during the rest of fashion month, too,” media outlet Fashionista said. The jacket, made from polyester and polyurethane, was presented as part of Nanushka’s Fall 2019 collection during NYFW. The Budapest-based brand also offers a number of other vegan leather pieces and is stocked in over 30 countries internationally through online stores, specialty shops, and department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, and Liberty and Browns.
