Today, beauty brand LUSH announced that it is transforming all of its product lines to be completely egg-free. The brand plans to replace the ingredient with vegan alternatives such as linseed and aquafaba (otherwise known as chickpea brine). “Unconvinced that even the very best egg production is free from suffering, we have removed eggs from all of our products,” LUSH posted on Facebook. The first LUSH location to offer the new egg-free version of its products will be in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The move means the brand is one step closer to becoming completely vegan, as it continues to create and launch new vegan products. Earlier this month, the all-vegan Celebration Bath Bomb collection became LUSH’s biggest launch ever and featured products such as crystal-filled geodes and champagne-inspired bath bombs.
